Thanks to the natural character of solid wood and the relatively clean lines, the Artisan's tables allow for a little more creative license that can keep you from making a design error.

Inspired by the rugged solid wood roads that America traveled, Plank Road is a tribute to the sturdy resolve that is our heritage. Every solid wood board presents its own personality while playing a part in the broader story. Avoiding unnecessary embellishments, the beauty of the furniture's construction is enough.

The collection features a casual, organic style that blends modern and vintage design influences with the natural character of solid wood furniture. Two finish choices are available across the assortment:

Stone - a natural brown tone that lightly shades the pine lumber

Charcoal - just as the name suggests, except these pieces feature the contrasting Stone finish on the tops for a two-tone look

Finishes are naturally resistant to minor everyday hazards or accidents, however, some precautions are necessary to maintain the beauty of wood furniture.

Dust with soft cloth slightly moistened with water. Always rub in the direction of the wood grain.

Do not place beverages directly on furniture.

Furniture should not be placed in direct sunlight.

Remove any spills or smudges immediately.

Elise is made from solid Appalachian maple that is finished with a wax lacquer for a rich, deep character.  To lend a family friendly feature while maintaining the clean look, Elise utilizes Sunbrella performance fabric for a color-fast, cleanable, and stain resistant surface on the upholstered dining seats.  In addition to modern features like our adjustable soft-close drawer glides, Kincaid utilizes the best of the old-world construction techniques.  Such features include English Dovetails, mortise and tenon construction, floating tops and panels, full dust proofing, and multi-step hand-rubbed finishes.

Made of Solid Alder and select hardwoods, Portolone blends timeless styles from the wine regions of Italy. The collection features all of the elements that make up the essence of Kincaid Furniture from its solid wood construction to the hand-rubbed finish. The traditional lines of Portolone are given a casual sensibility through careful details such as hand-hewned wood tops, hand-burnished edges, and the soft patina from the waxing lacquer finish. The look is completed with custom hardware in a Roman bronze finish, with dark Emperador marble available on select items. Kincaid® Weatherford Cornsilk Cooperage Bolton Round Cocktail Table

Weatherford is a Kincaid original and is made from solid New Zealand Pine. It takes a number of design and construction techniques from the early wood workers. One example is the uneven board lay-up that shows off the individual pieces of solid wood that make up each part of the furniture.

This highlights the solid wood furniture construction and becomes part of the two Weatherford finishes. The two finishes are:

Cornsilk – a lighter, almost white color reminiscent of a time-worn painted fence

Heather – a gray-brown blend inspired by weathered barns

Weatherford combines the best of modern furniture features with the authentic benefits of solid wood in an heirloom-quality construction. Notable features include the Kincaid Soft-Close drawer system. The Mill House collection reaches back to our roots and highlights the old techniques utilized during the early days of American furniture making. During those times craftsman were limited to solid lumbers and the materials they had, and they used techniques that were functional and visible to construct the furniture they built.  The furniture itself was built with a form-follows-function perspective which resulted in pieces that were inherently well made. Due to the use of those varying resources and the purposes for each piece, this led to a sort of unintended eclectic style which, ironically, is popular today.
